What's Included
All the necessary equipment for this day trip is provided – canoes or kayaks, paddles, safety kits and life jackets* – as well as a convenient water taxi ride to/from your destination. Please note that a valid Algonquin Park day pass is required for parking at our Lake Opeongo store. It’s best to reserve this excursion in advance to ensure availability.
Good To Know
If you are a beginner paddler, this may not be the best excursion for you! However, we can offer other options for people who are new to paddling or to being in the Algonquin Park backcountry.
- The park’s backcountry is not patrolled at any time.
- Rescue services should not be expected in this wilderness area.
- There is usually no mobile phone reception in the wilderness!
