This is a great introduction to paddling and nature appreciation! Scenic Costello Creek is easily accessed right from our Lake Opeongo store.
The Costello Creek trip is a perfect two-hour guided excursion for people with limited time but a desire to learn about wilderness paddling and explore the natural environment. All necessary equipment is included, as well as the services of a knowledgeable guide who can teach you some basic paddling skills. Within two hours, you can comfortably journey along the creek to Turtle Rock and back. This is a wonderful way to explore Algonquin Park for the first time!

What's Included
This two-hour, on-the-water excursion includes canoes or kayaks, paddles, safety equipment, life jackets and the services of an experienced guides. Bring your camera!
Good To Know
- Guided day trips are usually available Monday to Friday, throughout the paddling season, for groups of 2-8 people.
- All Costello Creek excursions begin before noon.
- The services of the guide and all the necessary equipment are included in the price, but you will need to purchase an Algonquin Park day pass for parking at Lake Opeongo.
