Live and work in Algonquin Provincial Park this summer! Summer accommodation is available for full-time staff at this location. Apply early to secure a spot.

The successful applicant will work collaboratively with others in a fast-paced cafe located in Algonquin Provincial Park. Emphasis is placed on excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a cafe-style dining atmosphere.
• Work closely with the manager to satisfy the public with the food and dining experience.
• When applicable, acquaint customers with menus
• Take and deliver accurate meal orders to guests.
• Handle cash and electronic transactions.
• Create a strong sense of teamwork and cooperation among all staff.
• Adhere to standard food safety practices.
• Clean and sanitize equipment used in the cafe.

The wage is $16 per hour… plus tips!

Hiring Notes

• We are open seven days a week from 7 am- 9 pm.
• All shifts are available.
• This busy summer cafe is a great place to work if you like people.
• Full or part-time hours available.
• Accommodation is optional for full-time staff.

Requested skills

• The candidate must possess a positive attitude and good customer service skills.
• The candidate must work alone and as part of a team.
• The candidate must be available to work short shifts, a combination of days and evenings, and weekends.
• Experience working in a restaurant/cafe-style environment is a plus.
