You’re invited to a sensory celebration of Canada’s 150th birthday and to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Tom Thomson’s untimely death. Discover beautiful fine craft and original art. Take a guided hike around Oxtongue Lake to see vistas painted by the Group of Seven and learn how Tom Thomson painted from a meteoroligical perspective of Phil “the forecaster” Chadwick. Listen to fiddling by the Deelies and view the trailer of Bob Hilscher’s new documentary “Among the trees”. Learn insights from TT Last Spring the “Ghost of Tom Thomson” and taste specially-prepared themed foods including Tom’s mulligan stew, maple products, baked goods, BBQ, and pizza.
The entry fee is $5 per person children under 12 for free.
