Kids’ Bike Rodeo
Kids and parents/guardians, come us on Thursday, June 1, 2017 from 4:30 – 6:30pm at Huntsville Public School for a bike rodeo! Kids will learn basic cycling skills and safety and will be guided through different stations each with a separate cycling focus, including: helmet and bike safety checks, road safety (signs and signals), a mock intersection, shoulder checks and agility.
How it works
- Riders will travel the stations in small groups of up to six. The entire rotation will take each group approximately 30 minutes. Each cyclist will end the Rodeo with a healthy snack, completed checklist, a certificate, and some bike goodies.
- The Kids’ Bike Rodeo is appropriate for kids aged 5-12 who can ride a bike.
- A parent or guardian must accompany each child on foot.
- Read Huntsville’s May 17, 2017 Media Release about the Third Annual Kids’ Bike Rodeo
How to register
- The Rodeo is free, but registration is required.
- You can easily register on line with EventBrite, to book your half-hour time slot.
- Please call The SportLab at 855-776-7852 for more information about booking.
