Algonquin Outfitters is a growing and dynamic company that is always looking for opportunities to develop more “stories.” Our belief in the value of seeking out adventure goes beyond canoe trips – it is a way of life for us.
Stories / Support
Algonquin Theatre and Arts
We support the arts in Muskoka by annually showing several films at the Algonquin Theatre, through participation in the Huntsville Festival of the Arts and by adding a painting to an exterior wall at our Huntsville store for the Group of Seven Outdoor Gallery.

Most of our staff are adventure seekers. Many of them spend their free time on Algonquin Park canoe trips, paddling whitewater in Ontario, mountain biking on trails and rural roads or going out wakeboarding on one of Muskoka’s many lakes. We not only promote adventure but we also live it!
Algonquin Outfitters takes an active role in the stewardship of Algonquin Park. Through many of our programs, we raise funds to support animal research in Algonquin Park, historical restoration projects and educational initiatives about keeping our park clean for the next visitor.
Live the Adventure
It has always been our hope that, through our support and guidance, everyone who wishes to experience all that Algonquin Park has to offer will have that opportunity. To the people who say they don’t have time to do the things in life they would really like to do, we respond: in order to make something happen, it just takes the will to get out there and do it! Speak to anyone who lives the adventure, whether it’s exploring the wilderness by canoe, paddling the oceans by kayak, cycling around Africa or climbing Mount Everest, and everyone will say the same thing; they just made the time to do it.
We will continue to post our adventures online and we welcome everyone to share their adventures with us.
