Algonquin Outfitters is a growing and dynamic company; we are always looking for opportunity to develop more “stories”. Adventure is a way of life for us and our belief in seeking out adventure goes beyond canoe trips – it is a way of life for us.
Stories / Support
Algonquin Theatre and Arts
We support the arts in Muskoka by showing several films at the Algonquin Theatre, participating with the Huntsville Festival of the Arts and also being a destination at our Huntsville store for the Group of Seven Outdoor Gallery.
Visit our events page for great local events like these.
Most of our staff are also adventure seekers; most spend their free time on Algonquin Park canoe trips, paddling whitewater in Ontario, mountain biking the trails or back roads of Muskoka, or even out wakeboarding one of Muskoka’s many lakes. We not only promote adventure but we also live it.
Algonquin Outfitters takes an active role in the stewardship of Algonquin Park. Through many of our programs we raise funds to support animal research in Algonquin Park, historical restoration projects or even just education about keeping our park clean for the next visitor.
Live the Adventure
It has always been our hope that through our support and guidance everyone who wishes to experience all that Algonquin Park has to offer will have that opportunity. To the people who say they don’t have time to do the things in life they would really like to do – it takes just the will to get out there and do it to make it happen. Speak to anyone who lives the adventure, whether it’s exploring wilderness by canoe, paddling the oceans by a kayak, cycling around Africa or climbing Mount Everest and everyone will say the same thing: they just made the time to do it.
We will continue to post our adventures online and we welcome everyone to share their adventures with us.
