2015 Photo Contest
Outdoor Activities in Algonquin Park, Haliburton Highlands & Muskoka
This was the theme for the Algonquin Outfitters 2015 Photo Contest and it drew a record number of entries, 581 in total, more than any past photo contest we have ever hosted. It seems a favourite was canoeing and camping in Algonquin Park, but we kind of expected that. We also saw lots of entries of other outdoor activities too, from people who like; fishing, hiking, running, boating, swimming, kayaking, stand up paddle boarding, rock climbing, walking the dog or even paddling with their dog, and cooking over a camp fire to name a few. And of course we saw lots of great scenery and wildlife photos entered too, something the area is well known for.
Our four judges had the mammoth task of picking just a few winners from all of the great photos entered, but they have came up with their winners that they felt best represented outdoor activities that people like to do in Algonquin Park, Haliburton and Muskoka.
2015 Photo Contest Winners
With so many (581) photos entered into our contest there were many more photos that our judges would have liked to announce as winners, the list below are photos that made our Honorable Mention list. We wish to recognize these photos and photographers as they too submitted wonderful photos.
