Making a reservation with us does not mean that you have made a

RESERVATIONS FOR OXTONGUE LAKE, OPEONGO
AND HUNTSVILLE
Advance reservations with deposits are essential for complete outfitting,
guided trips and large amounts of equipment. Reservations for canoe rentals
are also necessary for holiday weekends and busy summer weekends. We do
not take reservations for small amounts of equipment without a canoe rental.
RESERVATIONS FOR BRENT
Reservations for our remote Brent base must be made at least three weeks
in advance by contacting the main base in Oxtongue Lake. Call 705-635-2243
or go to the on-line reservation form.
HOW TO MAKE A
RESERVATION
Algonquin Outfitters accepts reservations by phone, mail, fax, e-mail
or through our on-line reservation form below. Before you make a reservation,
make sure you know trip dates, numbers of people and what type of package
or equipment you are interested in. If you are not sure, please call and
talk to any of our knowledgeable staff. The Oxtongue Lake base is open
seven days a week, year round. If you make a reservation and find that
numbers or dates change, we will be happy to change your reservation.
No matter how you choose to make a reservation, take the time to read
the form carefully. You can print it for mailing or faxing later. If time
permits, you can make a mail, phone, fax or e-mail reservation and mail
a cheque to pay the deposit. If you do this, however, indicate your name
and trip dates on the cheque.
By mail: Download and print the PDF version of the reservation
form by clicking on the link below. Include the reservation form and a
cheque, in Canadian or US funds, or provide credit card information. If
you have a completed menu, include that too; if not, we'll send one with
your confirmation.
By phone: review the reservation form so you will make the
best use of your long distance nickel. Have your credit card handy for
the deposit. Call 705-635-2243 any day of the week to reserve at any base.
By fax: complete the reservation form, including credit
card information, and fax it to 705-635-1834.
By e-mail: using the reservation form as a guideline, send us all
information relevant to your reservation. If you are not comfortable sending
credit card information by e-mail, give us a follow-up call or fax with
the number.
By Internet: Call to check availability if necessary. Fill
out the on-line reservation form by clicking on the link below. Your reservation
will automatically be e-mailed to us and a copy of your reservation will
be available for you to print out. If you are not comfortable sending
credit card information over the Internet, give us a follow-up call or
fax with the details.
DEPOSITS
Deposits made in advance will be refunded with 72 hours advance notice
of cancellation. A credit card imprint (Visa, MC, Amex) will be taken
on arrival and is required for any rental. If you do not have a credit
card, be prepared to leave a minimum $100 cash deposit. A $500 minimum
deposit is required for whitewater rentals.
Partial outfitting deposit: $20 per canoe
Complete outfitting deposit: $30 per person
Water taxi deposit: $50 per trip
Guided trips: $100 per person
