Seasonal
In the beginning, Algonquin Outfitters was
a seasonal, wilderness canoe trip business, promoting tourism
in Algonquin Park through out the summer. Today we run not
only summer stores (Opeongo, Brent & Minden) but we
also have winter only stores (Hidden Valley and Sir Sam's
Ski Areas) to compliment the stores that are open all year
long (Oxtongue Lake, Huntsville, Bracebridge & Haliburton)
 Summer
During the summer our focus is on Algonquin
Park canoe trips, kayaking, hiking, camping, mountain &
road biking, even wakeboarding and waterskiing. All kinds
of summer fun. Our outfitting base at Oxtongue lake is super
busy all summer long and the water taxi at Lake Opeongo
makes daily runs to our premium wildlife viewing trip, Hailstorm
Creek on Lake Opeongo.
Winter
Algonquin Outfitters is now open at select
locations during the winter to fill all your winter adventure
needs. From the hills to the trails we have all the winter
gear you need to get out there and enjoy winter in Muskoka.
